esp consulting was delighted to be the key development consultant for a period of 15 months on the exploitation and evaluation of one of its key EU funded projects: HERO - Health, Education, Rehabilitation of Offenders. This was a pan-European research blended learning project spanning 3.5 years and worth over EU2m. This work involved the setting up and facilitation of focus groups across Europe to facilitate stakeholder views and opinions as well as the creation of development plans for the research conducted. This included setting up educational templates, curriculum and syllabus pilots in order to further disseminate and develop the work. The consultancy resulted in a focused, extensive report with clear conclusions and recommendations. Some of this work has been instrumental in setting up the young offender educational programme One Spirit.
