As part of its 2010 global strategy the British Council approached us with a fascinating challenge - How will the role of qualifications change in the future? This question was central to their British Council 2010 initiative; laying the groundwork for educational excellence in the future. We plunged enthusiastically into the work by completing a thorough analysis of the global examinations industry, including extensive desk research, face-to-face interviews and worldwide teleconferences. We spoke to all the major awarding bodies, examination centres and other major stakeholders. To achieve our client's objectives, we focused particularly on ELT, English Language examinations at all levels and the nature of ELT testing.
esp consulting's analysis and recommendations are being used by the British Council to help prepare candidates for success in this dynamic environment.
Nick Boddy, British Council Examinations Manager said, "esp consulting were quick, resourceful., highly collaborative and provided an excellent report and presentation at our senior management meeting. We now have essential information how we can improve our services and the project is feeding into a 'Think Tank' to be held in Sri Lanka in November."
